MODERN COUNTER STOOLS

The solid wood construction speaks to both durability and beauty, promising to age gracefully while becoming an integral part of your daily rituals. Perfectly proportioned for counter-height dining and gathering spaces, these stools showcase how thoughtful design elevates functional seating into sculptural elements that enhance modern interiors.

Modern Counter Stools: Refined Comfort Meets Timeless Design

Meticulously crafted from select solid American walnut or white oak, our counter stools represent the harmonious blend of natural elegance and contemporary design sensibility. Each piece celebrates the wood’s inherent character—whether you’re drawn to American walnut’s sophisticated deep grain and rich warmth, or white oak’s timeless appeal and subtle, organic patterns.

The metalwork throughout our counter stool collection exemplifies exceptional craftsmanship, featuring both cast and handforged elements. From the understated luxury of hand-finished brass footrests to the architectural stability of bronze supports, each metal component is designed to acquire a beautiful patina over time. These metallic details aren’t merely decorative touches—they’re essential elements that ensure both structural integrity and design coherence.

These counter stools transcend their functional role to become expressions of refined craftsmanship, transforming casual moments into elevated experiences. Whether arranged along a kitchen counter or clustered around a gathering space, these pieces create an environment where comfort and sophistication naturally converge, embodying the essence of modern living.

Counter Stools FAQ

What’s the difference between bar stools and counter stools?

The main difference is height. Counter stools are typically 24–26″ seat height and fit 35–37″ high counters. Bar stools are taller, around 28–30″ seat height for bars 40–42″ high. Always measure your space for the perfect fit.

Allow about 10–12″ between the top of the seat and the underside of your counter or bar. For example:

  • Counter height (35–37″ counter): stool seat height 24–26″

  • Bar height (40–42″ counter): stool seat height 28–30″
